Latest research | The 3rd VLB Symposium on Acidic Fermented Non-Alcoholic Beverages (SAFB) will take place at the VLB Berlin from 24th to 25th May 2022. Through a program of selected experts and representatives from science & industry, the participants are to be brought up to date with the latest research and relevant aspects of acidic fermented non-alcoholic beverages.

In summer 2022, the European Beer Star will enter its 19th round. Interested breweries can register for the important beer competition from April 1. This year, the expert tasting will take place on August 4 and 5 at the Doemens Akademie in Gräfelfing. A tasting jury made up of beer experts from all over the world will evaluate the beers submitted from a sensory point of view: the focus lies on appearance, aroma and taste of the beers.
