Korean Beer Exhibition l The Korea International Beer Expo (Kibex) 2023 will be held for three days, from 6–8 April 2023, at the COEX Hall C, Seoul, Korea. Kibex is the only beer-specialized exhibition in Korea where attendees can see and experience all the businesses of the beer industry value chain, from beer production to distribution, packaging, and consumption, in one place. It is co-hosted by GMEG, an exhibition and convention company specializing in the beer and spirits industry, and is sponsored by Fermentis, BrauKon.

Promising outlook | The 11th edition of the Brazilian Beer Competition will take place from 6–8 March 2023 in Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. 4,085 samples (12 % more than last time) have been entered by 565 breweries from 25 Brazilian states – the largest participation in the history of the event. The Brazilian Beer Competition is organized by the Blumenauense Association of Tourism, Events and Culture (ABLUTEC).

Simultaneously brewed | The BestBrewChallenge is an international brewing competition where brewers from all around the world will brew simultaneously, with similar grain bills, in different countries. The competition beer is to be brewed between 20th and 23rd April 2023. The period will thus be extended from one to four days as opposed to previous years. The final day will be German Beer Day on the 23rd of April 2023. The closing date for shipping competition beers is 5 July 2023.

Kegstar continue partnership | In January, Kegstar and the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) have announced a three-year partnership on BeerX. The event, set to take place on the 15th and 16th of March 2023 at Exhibition Centre Liverpool, is one of the biggest trade events in the UK for beer and brewing businesses.
