Professional qualification | VLB’s flagship training course for prospective brewers is a 6-month full-time programme providing in-depth understanding of brewing technology with its related major fields of engineering, filling/packaging and quality control. The course from 11 January to 25 July 2021 conveys all the knowledge necessary for the technical management of a brewery. Course language is English.

COVID-19 | The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) decided to move the 2020 BevTech Europe meeting from a face-to-face in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to an online meeting on September 10th from 14:00 to 18:00 Central European Time.


COVID-19 | NürnbergMesse and B&N Exposiciones have decided to postpone this year’s Beviale Mexico and launch the event on March 2, 3 and 4, 2021.


COVID-19 | In view of the strong economic impact on the craft beer branch due to the increasing spread of the coronavirus, NürnbergMesse Italia and its partners VLB Berlin and Doemens have decided to postpone to 2021 the Craft Beer Italy planned for November 2020. Special initiatives for Italian visitors at BrauBeviale 2020 in Nuremberg are in the pipeline.


COVID-19 | The 2nd VLB Africa Brewing Conference has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


New date | The Institute of Brewing and Distilling, Asia Pacific announce that the 36th Asia Pacific Convention will now be held from 22-6 February 2021 in Perth, Australia.


COVID-19 | On March 13, 2020 The Brewers Assocciation canceled the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America and World Beer Cup 2020.


Coronavirus | In view of the increasing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking into account the recently published travel restrictions – namely for China, Korea, Italy, Iran, France, Germany, Spain as well as for states with a tense situation – by the Lord Mayor of Moscow Sergej Sobjanin (decret N° 12-UM), NürnbergMesse has decided to postpone Beviale Moscow 2020 to 2-4 September 2020.
