Johannesburg,| The Africa Brewing Conference 2025 will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the Hotel Sky Sandton, from 2–4 June.

Brussels | The Brewers of Europe have initiated a networking event to celebrate the growing shift towards responsible drinking, brewers' commitment to moderation, and the role of non-alcohol beer in this commitment. The event will take place on Wednesday, 9 April, from 18:30 CET at The Brewers of Europe House, Rue Caroly 23, 1050 Brussels.

Munich | A fixed date in the calendar for many breweries: the registration phase for this year's edition of the European Beer Star starts on 1 April. The renowned competition will once again be looking for the best beers from all over the world. The awards are highly coveted and fiercely contested. Only the three best beers in each category will be awarded gold, silver and bronze.

Munich | The world's leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, drinktec 2025, is fully on track – with only eight months remaining until its opening. All leading companies around the globe have already secured their space for the industry's global economic summit, which will take place from 15th to 19th September 2025 in Munich, and are actively preparing their exhibits.

Leuven | The International Symposium 16th Trends in Brewing will take place from 6 until 9 April 2025 in Leuven. This edition is co-organized with the J. De Clerck Chair XIX. The general theme is 'Innovations in Products and Processes' with 4 thematic sessions on NABs, malt & wort production, yeast & hops and AI.

Nuremberg | Hop specialist BarthHaas is holding a completely new four-part-series of workshops under the motto “From Cone to Glass – a Year in Hops” starting in May 2025.

SIBA | A new UK-wide beer week has been launched by independent beer campaigners to promote ‘independent beer, pubs and people’, with a string of events set to take place in community pubs, bars and brewery taprooms.
