Salon du Brasseur & de la Boisson 2026 to take place 15–16 October
France | The Salon du Brasseur trade fair is expanding its scope and becoming the “Salon du Brasseur & de la Boisson”, now addressing the entire beverage sector: In addition to beer, the focus will now also include wine, sparkling wine, spirits, fermented beverages, as well as alcohol-free and low-alcohol products. The Salon du Brasseur & de la Boisson 2026 will take place from 15–16 October at the Nancy Exhibition Centre in France. Following the trade fair, the Fête des Bières festival will take place from 16–17 October.
Originally launched in the early 1990s by the French Brewing Museum, Salon du Brasseur has grown into one of the most important trade events for the French brewing and beverage industries. Since 2018, the event has been jointly organised by the French Brewing Museum and Destination Nancy at the Nancy Exhibition Centre. With the 2026 edition, the fair will adopt its new name, Salon du Brasseur & de la Boisson. This change reflects the event’s expansion to the entire beverage sector, while the brewing industry will remain a core component of the event.
The trade fair is actively supported by Brasseurs de France, the association representing France’s independent brewers, as well as by several educational institutions, including the French Institute of Beverages, Brewing and Malting. The commitment of these key industry stakeholders helps position the event as a central and indispensable meeting place for the sector.
A comprehensive programme
To meet visitors’ expectations, around 20 workshops and technical presentations will provide opportunities to deepen professional knowledge and discover the latest innovations in the beverage industry. In partnership with Bière Actu, the Trade Fair Studio provides industry professionals with a platform for live discussions and interviews. The recordings are subsequently released as podcasts.
For the past six years, the trade fair has been recognizing innovations that address the environmental and societal challenges facing the brewing industry. Starting in 2026, the The Brassinov Competition will now be expanded to encompass the entire beverage sector.
Stronger international focus
Since 2025, the trade fair has been working with Promosalons, the international network dedicated to promoting French trade fairs abroad, to attract more professional visitors from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. With its expansion to the entire beverage industry, this international cooperation will be further strengthened and extended.
Fête des Bières
Immediately following the Salon du Brasseur & de la Boisson, the Fête des Bières invites visitors to experience the richness and diversity of beer culture in a convivial atmosphere. The beer festival will take place from 16–17 October. By combining a professional trade fair with a public beer festival, visitors benefit from a truly diverse experience. During the day, the focus is on innovations, market trends and professional exchange, while the evenings and festival hours offer opportunities to enjoy, discover and celebrate beer culture. This new event format creates additional networking opportunities, encourages interaction between industry professionals and beer enthusiasts, and turns Nancy into the meeting point for the entire brewing and beverage community over the course of the weekend.
