Germany | Since the European Beer Star was inaugurated, promoting diversity in beer has been at the heart of the competition. With its style categories, the European Beer Star was conceived as a vehicle for familiarizing consumers with the beer styles of the world and conveying a beer culture that is lived in the various regions of Europe, the countries of origin of the respective beers. But what characterises the individual beer styles, and what do experts from the countries of origin have to say about them? To answer these questions, we embark on a journey through Germany, Poland, Belgium and Italy.
