It’s a rather special bottle, as round as a ball. Unique, which is why it’s called “Unicum”. As you can imagine, it isn’t all that easy to label this kind of bottle, let alone with five different labels and a tax strip. But Krones has managed it, using a modularised labeller with a Taxmodule designed specifically for this job.

Low pressure plasma | Beverages packaged in polyethylene tephthalate (PET) have long since taken command of the beverage aisle. PET bottles are a lightweight, impact-resistant alternative to conventional glass bottles. Mineral water (sparkling water), juices and soft drinks in PET bottles enjoy a broad acceptance among consumers. Even beer is available in plastic bottles at many discount retailers.
