New member of BrewingScience reviewer panel announced

Nuremberg | Taichi Maruhashi from Suntory Brewery in Japan is now supporting the international reviewer panel of the scientific journal BrewingScience, contributing his expertise across the entire spectrum of the brewing process.

Maruhashi joined Suntory in 2001 and began his career at the Gunma Brewery. From 2006 to 2009, he studied at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan, Germany, where he deepened his expertise in brewing science. His research focused on the mashing process. Back in Japan, he contributed to the development of Suntory Brewery’s flagship products and served as a Quality Assurance Manager at the Gunma Brewery. Since 2024, he has held the position of Plant Manager at the Suntory Brewery in Musashino, near Tokyo.
