Germany | Centec and Solos by Prodalim have agreed to cooperate on the construction of modules for aroma recovery from a vacuum rectification plant based on a regenerable resin bed according to the patented process of FlavoLogic, a subsidiary of Prodalim. These modules are to be used in particular in dealcoholization plants of the “DeAlcoTec” type from Centec GmbH to further optimize the taste of the end product. The collaboration includes planning, project execution, delivery, installation and commissioning for the dealcoholization of fermented products such as wine, cider, beer and spirits.
Nuremberg | On 17 April 2024, BarthHaas, one of the world’s leading suppliers of hop products and services, reported it is expanding its innovative PHA (Precision in Hop Aroma) product range with a series of water-based alternatives. As is the case with the entire range, the new variants enable high-quality beers and other hop-based beverages to be produced more efficiently and more profitably.

Nuremberg | The international hop specialist BarthHaas has published its Hop Harvest Guide 2023 in March. Brewing and hop professionals all over the world value the guide for its comprehensive documentation of the quality of the most recent hop crop. It helps brewers to adapt their processes and recipes to the changes identified in the respective crop year.
Nuremberg | BarthHaas is again offering BarthHaas Grants in 2024 to support two promising new research projects with funding amounting to 10,000 euros per project. The grants will be awarded for project ideas in the fields of brewing science and hops. Young researchers can apply to the world’s leading hop services provider until July 31.
The Netherlands | During the 108 VLB International Brewing & Engineering Congress 2024 which took place from 13 to 15 March, Holland Malt officially opened the world’s first emission-free malthouse. With this step, the Eemshaven-based malthouse goes completely off gas.
