Döhler at Brau Beviale 2010: Innovative ingredients and product applications

At the Brau Beviale 2010, the focus was on fermented and non-fermented beverage bases that make new and distinct beverage concepts possible, taking into account not only organic and fermentation technologies, but also extraction and emulsion.

Innovations such as “Brewed Lemonades” and modern malt-based beverages, which meet current trends and appeal to new target groups, were presented.

The new cider and fruit applications create innovative, fruity-fresh flavour sensations in drinks with low alcohol content or as non-alcoholic formulation.

Döhler introduced new product applications in the beer mixes segment. Domestic fruits, higher fruit juice content and new concepts will breathe new life into the beer mixes segment.

For the CSD segment, Döhler has formulated a complete product spectrum, which ranges from natural carbonates to the new sweetening solutions with Stevia. Flavoured water, modern Aqua Plus concepts, including vitamin water, aqua tea with fruit juice and tea extracts were the latest applications in the water plus beverages category.

Under the Döhler Microsafety Design brand, Döhler offers microbiologically selective nutrient media for almost all sectors of the beverage industry and breweries. They are easy to use and achieve fast and above all reliable results. At Brau Beviale, Döhler presented the new TransFast Gel and offered well-founded advice on all questions concerning quality assurance and the use of these nutrient media.
