“Many more species are simply awaiting discovery”

Walk on the wild side | At the beginning of the winter semester 2020/21, Prof. Brian Gibson accepted a new position at the TU Berlin as professor and head of the department Fachgebiet Brau- und Getränketechnologie (Chair for Brewing and Beverage Technology). His research focus is on brewing yeasts and their influence on fermentation and beer quality. In an interview with BRAUWELT, Prof. Gibson explains what developments can be expected in the field of yeast research in the coming years.
