Petainer appoints two new sales directors

Specialist plastics packaging technology business Petainer has promoted two sales managers to newly created posts as regional sales directors.

Urban Larsson is to become sales director for Scandinavia, covering Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, and Herwig Libuda is to become sales director for Eastern and Central Europe.

Urban has been sales manager with Petainer since 2006 having originally joined the company in 1994 as production manager and then quality manager, before moving into sales. He previously worked at Volvo and in sales with metal power company Höganäs

Herwig has been with Petainer since 1999, joining the company from international laboratory and process technology provider Sartorius AG where he was sales and marketing manager for food and beverages. Prior to that he worked in sales for pharmaceutical company Boehringer Mannheim (now Roche Diagnostics).

In their new roles Urban and Herwig will be responsible for working with key customers, developing new sales opportunities and managing Petainer’s expanded sales teams – several new sales staff have been appointed over the past few weeks.
