KHS Innocoll HMP Hotmelt Concept for Tray and Wrap-around Packers

As in labeling, the same applies to the field of packaging: the machine, the glue, and the materials must harmonize perfectly. For tray and wrap-around packing machines, KHS now also offers a glue precisely corresponding to these applications: Innocoll HMP.

Building on comprehensive KHS research results, for wrap-around and tray packaging there are only a total of two hotmelt variants required: Innocoll HMP 2112 for the gluing of tray packaging, and Innocoll HMP 2113 for the gluing of wrap-around packaging. The advantage: When switching packaging materials, there is no change in hotmelt variants required. To ensure the perfect application of glue, KHS provides exact parameters for each application case, such as the temperature of the glue and the pressure with which the glue must be applied to the cardboard materials being processed. In addition, KHS uses a newly developed nozzle head. A pneumatically controlled valve located in the nozzle ensures the application of the specified quantity of glue, and also includes a self-cleaning function.
