Can filling system extensively modernized

A new generation of the Innofill DVD precisely geared towards today’s requirements is now being introduced to the market. The Innofill DVD is well suited for the filling of cans with both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Whether beer, carbonated or non-carbonated alcohol-free beverages, wine, sparkling wine or spirits: all are possible. Hot filling of particularly sensitive non-carbonated beverages, such as fruit drinks, is also feasible. The filling machine is able to process fruit beverages containing fibers up to 10 millimeters long and up to 1.5 millimeters in diameter. The output capacities range from 15,000 cans/hour to up to 120,000 cans/hour.

The filling system has been specifically designed according to the principle of volumetric can filling using electromagnetic inductive flow metering coupled with the advantages of simplicity and greatest possible filling accuracy and maximum microbiological product safety. The filling valves are equipped with a universal bell designed for the filling of the three most common can types. Another major improvement is that all functions concerning the filling procedure, including sealing and the pressing of the can against the filling valve, are now integrated within the filling valve, thereby simplifying maintenance and servicing work and various other aspects. Another new feature is that the pressure exerted on the can is now generated pneumatically in an expansion bellows which acts as a gas spring.

Automatic CIP sanitizing is also available as an option for the Innofill DVD. The new automatic CIP sanitizing process includes a significant reduction in the mechanical complexity of the process. The insertion and retraction process is faster and the consistent implementation of hygienic design eases and simplifies cleaning and disinfection measures.
