EBC Symposium 2025: Call for abstracts now open

Brussels | The EBC Symposium 2025, taking place from 18–20 May 2025 in Budapest, will focus on sustainable beer packaging; innovations in keg & tank-beer installations; and beer dispense technology & quality. The call for abstracts is now open until 3 February 2025.

Brewing scientists, researchers, and technical brewers are welcome to submit abstracts covering any of the following topics:

• Innovations in keg, keg components, and materials;
• innovations in beer-tank systems, or other novel aspects of sustainable packaging;
• beer dispense systems, ease of operation, cleanability, and consistency in quality;
• consumer acceptance of draught beer, both from the intrinsic (beer quality) as well as extrinsic point of view (marketing and PoS considerations).

All abstracts must be submitted using the EBC online platform. People who have previously used the EBC Call for Abstracts system can log in using their existing email address and password. Posters do not form part of the EBC Symposium.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 1200 characters (including spaces), and supplicants must also submit a mini-CV (up to 1200 characters) and a photo of the main author or principal speaker.

Abstracts submitted via email will not be accepted.
