Hop report 2011 available
In their joint report the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (Bayerische Landesanstalt für Landwirtschaft , LfL) and the Society of Hop Research (Gesellschaft für Hopfenforschung e.V., GfH) provide information on ongoing and finished hop research projects and their results.
The annual review 2011 also considers basic parameters with a potential impact on quality, such as climatic factors, pest infestation and production methods. In addition, the 140-page report deals with objectives for hop cultivation, structure of acreage, harvest yield, vocational and advanced training and the activities of the work groups. The aroma profile of new hop varieties is described in detail using informative graphs.
