GrainCorp Malt introduces new President of European Malt Operations
GrainCorp Malt, the parent company of German maltster Schill Malz and the UK maltster Bairds Malt has announced that it will implement a reorganization of its European businesses. This reorganization will allow the German and UK businesses to provide better service and capabilities to their customers as they will benefit from closer cooperation in all divisions - in manufacturing, engineering and sales.
GrainCorp Malt further announced that Roger Woodley, currently Managing Director of Baird’s Malt, will manage both companies in his new role as President of European Malt Operations. Peter Schill, Managing Director of Schill Malz will step down from his position with immediate effect.
Steve Haydon, Director of GrainCorp Malt, said: „We appreciate the work that Peter has done for the company and recognise his contribution in establishing Schill Malz in both the German and the international malt markets. We wish him all the best for his future.“
