Invisible Sentinel announces final validation phase for microbial detection tool

Invisible Sentinel, Inc., a global molecular solutions company providing detection tools to advance quality processes, has initiated the final validation phase of Veriflow® brewPAL, which follows the successful development of this product for the brewing industry.

Veriflow® brewPAL was developed in conjunction with Victory Brewing Company, a craft brewery headquartered in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and provides same-day detection for the presence of Pediococcus and Lactobacillus species throughout the brewing process. This novel technology provides onsite detection and quantification of these microbes and reduces time-to-results from several days to less than three hours. Timely detection can prevent spoilage, preserve integrity and transform brewing quality control processes from reactive to preventive.

Four new partners have been added to complete the validation phase, all of them award-winning craft breweries: Yards Brewing Company (Philadelphia, PA), Weyerbacher Brewing Company (Easton, PA), Russian River Brewing Company (Santa Rosa, CA), and Kettlehouse Brewing Company (Missoula, MT).

A global commercial launch of Veriflow® brewPAL is anticipated in early spring.
