This year the labelling machine manufacturer GERNEP introduced two new aggregates for its gluing systems onto the market: The GERNEP self-adhesive label applicator and the 3rd generation cold glue labelling unit.

The main focus is on precision and usability.

The self-adhesive label applicator combines latest technology for a powerful performance. The big touch display guarantees an intuitive handling. The label rolls can be replaced quick and easy without any tools. With its high labelling speed of up to 200m/min the GERNEP self-adhesive label applicator works at high precision due to an intelligent sensor with auto-teach function and the new adjustment of the label applicator.

The new generation of the cold glue labelling unit convinces by its solid and compact construction. The powerful unit is improved in all areas and offers, inter alia, a new label pallets design and a completely revised aggregate set up for a reliable label transport. To ease usability GERNEP has also improved cleaning and servicing opportunities.

For the upcoming year, more innovations are planned to be released. “We are working intensively on further developing our entire machine portfolio to deliver our customers with the highest possible quality”, says Martin Hammerschmid, managing director of GERNEP. The industry can look forward to what the labelling machine specialist from Barbing will reveal in 2021.
