New production lines in Europe

To support growth, flexibility and sustainability, Lightweight Containers, the producer of KeyKeg and UniKeg is expanding with several new production lines in Europe.

The production line in Seaham, UK, is already fully operational and the next production line will be located in Guadalajara, Spain, which will start production in May 2019. Plans for the sixth production line have already been drawn up.

The production capacity of the new line in Guadalajara enables Lightweight Containers to meet growing demand in that region. The factories are all state of the art, with the latest blowmolding technology and machinery, as well as the latest automation and robotics technologies.

With the opening of the production line in the United Kingdom and Spain, Lightweight Containers has a presence of 5 production lines and multiple warehouses spread all over the world. With the planning of a sixth production line in Italy the company is improving its environmental footprint even further
