Zoppas Industries acquires 100% of the Berchi Group

Sipa, a company belonging to the Zoppas Industries group, leader in the field of solutions for the beverage bottling world, has just achieved an important goal, reinforcing its position as a supplier of complete lines, from the manufacturing of PET bottles through to final packaging. On 1st September, the Company from Vittorio Veneto (Treviso), headed by Gianfranco Zoppas acquired 100% of Parma’s Berchi Group, a manufacturer of complete bottling and packaging lines.

A merger worth an overall turnover of over 300 million Euro for the year in course and which successfully concludes the integration process of the two companies that has been underway since last year, with the aim of creating a new unique enterprise qualified to present itself as one of the main players of the sector.

Sipa proposes itself as an expert partner capable of offering extremely innovative solutions as regards complete supplies, from the PET granules right through to the palletized bottle. The acquisition of the Berchi Group successfully brings to completion Sipa’s natural vocation to provide 360° solutions, by incorporating in SIPA the filling and end of line aspects. In this way, the company strengthens its position at the forefront of the food and beverages world thanks to the completeness of its production range, its technological expertise and its organizational structure.

This development is consistent with the philosophy that has always characterized corporate evolution in Sipa: maximum specialization and concentration in the supplying of complete bottling lines for PET containers. Our commitment to supply increasingly more wide-ranging solutions is the only possible response to the requests of today’s continually evolving market and to the demands of beverage producers throughout the world. A response that must be well-organized, technological, flexible and creative.
