Pentawards 2010

Packaging design from the world over created or brought out in 2009/10 was judged by a likewise international jury composed of twelve professionals from the sector, with Gérard Caron in the chair. The panel selects the winning packages on the basis of creativity, branding, and the quality of the packaging design for the year.

One of the Gold Pentawards 2010 went to Grenache Bottle Design (New Zealand) for their design concept for the Deep Origin Water Bottle, produced in durable Crystal glass, to sustain being collected and refilled multiple times, while the Platinum Pentaward 2010, Best of the Other Markets category went to Identis (Germany) for their stylish Wild Bags, made simply out of corrugated cardboard, with cuts on the front that resemble the bars of a cage. A bag box that shows and protects the product at once. Moreover, it is perfectly ecological because the cardboard is completely recyclable, with very little printing (and therefore ink).
