500 years of “Reinheitsgebot”: Special anniversary edition

The long-established Munich jeweller J.B. Fridrich GmbH & Co. KG cherishes values like authenticity, quality and trust –that’s why they’ve come up with something special to mark this year’s Bavarian anniversary of “500 years of Reinheitsgebot”, as the company reported in July.

As a tribute to this special part of Bavarian cultural history, Fridrich and partner Junghans present an exclusive wristwatch with special engraving, which turns the special Max Bill automatic edition, a design classic of the traditional watchmaker Junghans from Schramberg based on the original plans by the artist Max Bill, into a unique souvenir in memory of a special anniversary year. The special edition is limited to 500 pieces.

The watch comes with a silver-plated face and an automatic J800.1 clockwork. Its back sports the anniversary logo of the Bavarian Brewers Federation designed by the Design Faculty of the University of Munich. This classy special edition is completed by a bracelet made of genuine loden felt – typically Bavarian!
