Bisphenols in Canned Beer – A Potential Risk for Consumers’ Health?

Can linings are functional barriers to prevent canned beverages from disadvantageous influences from metal cans such as off flavor, color change and oxidation. One common epoxy resin consists of polymerized bisphenol A (BPA) and bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE). Both monomers can migrate into foodstuff.
