2015 United States Hop Crop & Hop Acreage

On Dec. 17th, 2015, the US Department of Agriculture reported hop production for 2015 increased 11% from 2014, yielding nearly 35,800 tons.

Acreage increased 22% in Oregon, 30% in Idaho, and 11% in Washington. Washington State produced 75.5% of the hop crop in 2015, with Oregon producing 13.5% and Idaho 11%. Cascade was the largest hop variety grown by acreage with 2,748 ha planted, followed by CTZ’s with 2,154 ha and Centennial with 1,781 ha. ...
