Lallemand announces appointment of new President & General Manager of its brewing business
Canada | Lallemand is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvie Van Zandycke, succeeding Brent Jordan, as the President & General Manager of its Brewing business, a global provider of fermentation ingredients, process aids, enzyme and education to the brewing industry, effective 1 February 2026.
Brent Jordan has successfully led the brewing business since 2012 and will transition to the role of Senior Vice President & Special Advisor at the Lallemand Group level, whilst simultaneously supporting the Brewing management team and leadership transition over a period of time.
Sylvie Van Zandycke has a bio-engineering degree from Belgium and a Ph.D. in yeast physiology from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. She joined Lallemand in 2004, leading the genetic analysis lab in Montreal, QC, Canada and held a number of positions over the years. More recently in her role as Director of Sales and Marketing for yeast, nutrients and bacteria, she contributed to building a talented team and growing the high quality, premium brewing yeast business for the last 9 years.
