Leadership changes in Continental Europe business

The global producer of alcoholic beverages is making changes to its leadership within central Europe as Chris Stagg, currently Cluster Director for Central Europe operations, will return to the United Kingdom effective 1st August 2019 and assume a new role within the company.

Helene Weesie, currently Managing Director of Serengeti, Diageo’s business in Tanzania, will be replacing Chris as Cluster Director, Central Europe effective from 1st August 2019. She will report to Peter Ndegwa, Managing Director for their business across Continental Europe.

Helene Weesie joined Diageo in 2015 and in her current role as Managing Director, Serengeti Breweries Limited, she has overseen a significant turnaround and development of the business there. She has over 25 years of international experience in General Management, Marketing & Sales across the food and beverage sector.
