New faces at the Research Center Weihenstephan: Dipl.-Ing. Müller-Auffermann strengthens the team

Dipl.-Ing. Konrad Müller-Auffermann (age 27) will be responsible for consulting in terms of brewery plants, fermentation technology and filling technology, in particular for alcohol-free beverages based on cereals as well as for alternative fermentation considering different technologies.

Mr. Müller-Auffermann had already two years of international experience before he started his study here in Weihenstephan. During this period he partially worked for DEA-Tuchenhagen and conducted experiments about fermentation behaviour in discharging lines of conical-cylindric tanks at the Pilsener Urquell brewery in the Czech Republic. Three further praxis oriented years followed, which accompanied his study and took place at the Krones AG, Steinecker site, in the area of process technology and technology in general. There he specialized in planning plant-units and in alcohol free beverages. One focus thereby was on different fermentation and kwass production. His diploma work was entitled: “Kwass: product description, plant-units planning and feasibility analysis” and was project and praxis oriented.
