Newly elected Management Board

Shareholders and Supervisory Board of KHS GmbH have appointed Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Niemeyer (43) as CEO of KHS GmbH, effective as of April 1, 2011. Prof. Niemeyer has been a member of the KHS Executive Management Board since September 14, 2009 and has been previously responsible for the technology division. He will continue in this position in addition to his duties and responsibilities as CEO. The present CEO, Roland Flach (66), will be retiring from this office on March 31, 2011.

Anke Fischer (45), up to now head of Central Controlling of Salzgitter AG, has been appointed as a member of the Executive Management Board (CFO) of KHS GmbH, effective as of February 1, 2011. Burkhard Becker (50), present Chief Financial Officer of KHS GmbH, will leave the Executive Management Board of KHS GmbH on January 31, 2011. The Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG has appointed Mr. Becker as the new Chief Financial Officer of Salzgitter AG, effective as of February 1, 2011.

Marc Hartmann (46), up to now chief representative of KHS GmbH, has been appointed as a member of the Executive Management Board, effective as of April 1, 2011. Mr. Hartmann will be responsible for project management as well as process and quality management.

Mr. Georg Michels (54), Sales, and Prof. E.h. Dr.-Ing. Johann Grabenweger (48), Production will complete the KHS Executive Management Board as of February 1/April 1, 2011.
