All Change at BFBi

Paul Corbett, MD of Charles Faram & Co Ltd and Chairman of BFBi for 2010 & 2011 handed over the chain of office to National Vice Chairman, Alistair McInnes, MD of Centriflow Services Ltd at his Chairman’s Dinner, held at Williams F1 Centre, 9th June 2011.

Robin Wright, MD of Grainmonitor, past Eastern Section Chairman and Management Committee Representative was invested as National Vice Chairman by new Chairman Alistair.

Chairmanship of BFBi continues for two years and traditionally changes at the June Management Committee meeting.

Recent Chairmen have included Robert Hall, Chairman of James & Son (co-product feed merchants), representing London Section; Richard Maddison, MD of M & A Packaging Services (automated inspection, handling & sorting equipment), representing Western Section and Paul Corbett (hop merchant), representing Midland Section.

BFBi believes that it is unique in that it represents an entire value chain to the drinks and food industry. Chairmen bring their own particular sector expertise to the role as well as regional, national and international perspectives. During their term of office Chairmen visit other sections, become involved in trade committee and other Association issues, gaining a truly international perspective of the food & drink supply chain.
