Tobias Kahmann new Director of Marketing and Market Intelligence

Effective as of the beginning of 2014, Tobias Kahmann (39) accepted responsibility as Director of two merged departments at Gea Refrigeration Technologies: Marketing and Market Intelligence. Annette Wille, who was previously head of the Department Marketing, will move to a new assignment at Gea Refrigeration Technologies. Tobias Kahmann is now responsible for all marketing activities: market-data generation, market analysis and market-data resourcing, development of marketing strategy, as well as internal and external communication. He was until now the Director of Market Intelligence, which has now been merged with the Department of Marketing to generate synergies and to provide a one stop shopping approach.

Mr. Kahmann is Economist-lawyerBefore joining Gea Group in early 2012, he was employed at E.ON Ruhrgas, where his last position was in Strategy and Stakeholder Management in the Division Exploration & Production. Before E.ON, he was active as a management consultant and was responsible for areas of work such as the strategic re-positioning of after-sales business, as well as development of a customer-loyalty program for a German automobile brand. He also developed the online presence and the associated sales support for a prominent chocolate brand. Kahmann studied law at the University of Bayreuth, with a focus on commercial law. At the same time he obtained additional academic qualification in the field of economics (focus marketing). He likewise studied for two semesters at the University of Exeter in England.
