New faces at BrewingScience board
BrewingScience announces personnel changes in its editorial board. The panel serves as a source of inspiration for the further development of the journal BrewingScience, provides support in the search for suitable authors and advises on the selection of the winner of the Ludwig Narziß Award for Brewing Science. So far, it consisted of nine renowned experts from the field of brewing science or related disciplines.
BrewingScience is pleased to welcome two other world-renowned and proven experts to the editorial board: Prof. Charles W. Bamforth, UC Davies, California, USA, and Prof. Guido Aerts, KU Leuven, Campus Ghent, Belgium. With their many years of experience, the world-renowned brewing scientists contribute to the board's high level of expertise and also set an example in terms of internationalization.
The committee receives additional support by Dr. Christina Schönberger, Joh. Barth & Sohn, Nuremberg, Germany. The internationally renowned brewery engineer specializes in hops and is going to advise BrewingScience in this area – for example at the upcoming Hop Special, for which the call for papers is already out (see also box below).
