New York Public Library launches beer made from George Washington’s recipe

USA | Most brewers will be serving a special patriotic beer to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday. But the New York Public Library (NYPL) aims one higher: To commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence it teamed up with local Talea beer company to produce a special edition “Liberty Lager”, inspired by George Washington’s own original recipe for “Small Beer”.
