Trends in Brewing: From scientific theory to practical solutions

The 9th symposium “Trends in Brewing”, which opened its doors on 14 April in Ghent, turned out to be a great event. It was the first time that the conference with a European orientation took place over three days. The hosts Prof. Guido Aerts, Catholic University of Leuven, Leuven, and Prof. Paul Hughes, Heriot-Watt-University, Edinburgh could be more than happy: This time more than 300 participants from 18 different countries came to Flanders – considerably more than in the previous years.
