Major European wholesalers associations to attend Pianeta Birra

The 10th PIANETA BIRRA BEVERAGE & CO, international exhibition of beer, beverages, snacks, furnishing and fittings for pubs & pizza parlours, will be held in Rimini from 23 to 26 February 2008.

According to a press announcement, some of the major associations of European wholesalers are taking part with their delegations. Apaprt from Italy’s Italgrob, these include Germany’s Bundesverband des Deutschen Getränkefachgrosshandels, plus members of the CEGROBB European Federation of Beer and Beverage Wholesalers which, since 1959, have worked on the trade’s coordination, networking and unity at community level. Also from Germany, an important delegation is awaited from the SGF international fruit juice manufacturers association: a major association with 12,000 members.

The initiatives looking beyond Italy’s border include ‘Europe at the pub’: an event that is part of the ‘Drinks Village’, which features theme evenings in Rimini’s venues to promote the combination of good food and beer and crossovers between the gastronomic cultures of various countries.
