Schöfferhofer Weizen sold more than 500,000 hl in 2007

An urban Weizen, which does not draw on a Dirndl and Lederhosen romance, has been the surprise winner last year.

Admittedly, it has been around for a while yet and its marketing has always been supported by a multi-million Euro advertising budget. However, it was last year only that Schöfferhofer Weizen, a brand owned by Radeberger Group, broke through the 500,000 hl threshold.

The highest growth rate within the Schöfferhofer brand family registered Schöfferhofer Grapefruit, which was launched last year.
