First International Symposium for Young Scientists and Technologists in Malting, Brewing and Distilling
From 6th to 7th November 2008, the First International Symposium for PhD students and young professionals working in the field of malting, brewing and distilling, functional beverages as well as alternative fuels will take place at the University College Cork, Ireland in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan and the Institute of Brewing and Distilling.
The aim of the Symposium is to attract young people, especially those new to the field, and to cover a broad range of malting, brewing and distilling related topics. The low cost Symposium also intends to facilitate the dissemination of research results and to stimulate the discussion about state-of-the-art topics in the field. It is specifically designed to initiate networking among the people, who will be the future of the malting, brewing and distilling community.
Young researchers and PhD students are invited to actively participate by sending abstracts of their research results. Deadline will be 29th of August 2008. Please send your abstracts to . The Symposium Programme depends on the papers submitted and the themes that evolve from the submissions will be introduced by senior scientists.
