CIMC Enric Tank and Process B.V. acquires Briggs Group Ltd.

CIMC Enric Tank and Process B.V. (CETP), a subsidiary of CIMC ENRIC Holdings Ltd., has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Briggs Group Ltd. (Briggs).

Briggs and its subsidiaries are involved in the brewing, distilling, food, pharmaceutical, health and beauty and biofuels markets, providing process engineering solutions for the world’s leading companies. Briggs has offices in the UK and the USA and will continue its activities in both locations – Burton-upon-Trent/UK, and Rochester, New York/USA.

The acquisition provides the CETP group with the opportunity to extend its product portfolio. It will strengthen the Group in the market, by diversification in products and geography. A high level of synergy can be reached with the Group’s current activities which consist of engineering design and consultancy as well as execution of projects for the brewing, distilling, yeast, food, biofuels and pharmaceutical industries.
