Fifth CEBC to take place at the end of January

Hungary | The Central European Brewers Conference (CEBC) has announced its fifth annual conference and trade show, scheduled for 29–31 January 2025, at the Central European University, Nador u. 15, 1051 Budapest. Since its inception in 2017, the conference has become a vital event for the craft beer community, providing a platform for breweries and suppliers to step away from daily operations and focus on innovative strategies for business growth.

This year, attendance surged to 140 participants, representing 35 breweries from across the region and beyond. Attendees include craft beer professionals from Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Serbia, Romania, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, France, Germany, The UK, Cyprus, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.

The CEBC is a trade-only event dedicated to the craft beer industry in the region, fostering networking and collaboration among brewers, distributors, journalists, and industry experts. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with key industry figures, including renowned presenters like Joe Stang, managing editor of Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine, and Evan Rail, award-winning journalist for The New York Times.

The CEBC also hosts a master brewing class as part of the conference and this year our master brewer will be Timothy Zydek from To Øl in Denmark and he will be brewing a no alcohol or low alcohol beer which is a hot topic these days.

In conjunction with the conference, the King of Craft Beer competition will feature an impressive lineup of international judges and an opportunity for winner to connect with local and regional distributors.
