100 years of beer separation

The first Westfalia Separator hydrostop separator – a clarifier type SC 35 – was delivered to the Bavik brewery in Bavikvove, Belgium in 1984. The next major step followed in 1990: The SC 120 was the first machine capable of performing ejections every 45 seconds.

In the mid-nineties, a completely new machine line was launched. In 2008, this culminated in the two top-of-the line models GSC 200 and GSC 250, which once again represented an advance into a new dimension. So now Westfalia Separator hydrostop separators with a capacity range of 50 hl/h to 800 hl/h are in the product line of GEA Westfalia Separator for beer clarification with maximum yields and high solid concentrations.

100 years of beer separation means a 100 year successful track record. A success story which was not written by chance. It is rather the result of a constant further development of GEA Westfalia Separator.
