New plastic cap for beer combining passive gas barrier and active oxygen scavenger for better gustatory quality and shelf life
Thanks to a wide range of developments of the Plastic Industry aimed at increasing gas barrier performances of polyester bottles, the Beer Industry has now got new opportunities to pack and sell its products in consumer friendly containers: a new 2-piece plastic cap, “Tapsid BO2S” from Bericap, supplements these innovations in order to provide high barrier packaging systems requested by beer to withstand shelf life requirements of large scale distribution and keep up its gustatory qualities.
