Emmanuel Rurema becomes Africa representative for Doemens

In December 2022, the time had come: Doemens Managing Director Dr Werner Gloßner and Emmanuel Rurema, Managing Director, Advanced Helios Process Solutions Ltd, Kenya, signed the representative contract for the Africa region.

Initially, Rurema will expand the activities of the Doemens laboratories (including yeast bank, nutrient media) in Africa. Furthermore, seminars and further training (technical/technological) are planned.

Rurema, who was born in Rwanda, studied food technology with a focus on brewing in Freising-Weihenstephan in the 1990s and then worked for two decades in various positions for an internationally active supplier to the beverage industry. In the course of his activities, Rurema held various positions up to Managing Director in Kenya. In 2020, Emmanuel Rurema set up his own company, Advanced Helios Process Solutions, as Managing Director. He and his team support companies in the beverage industry in Africa in the context of process and organisational optimisation.
