New faces at the Research Center Weihenstephan: Dipl.-Ing. Schneiderbanger strengthens the team
Dipl.-Ing. Hubertus Schneiderbanger (age 26) supports the team as a consulting engineer in the area of brewing technology and microbiology.
After his study of brewing and beverage technology in Weihenstephan, he performed his diploma work on the subject of: “Evaluation of possibilities for harvest-yeast treatment”, and then was employed as a scientist at the Department of Technology and Brewery II, Prof. Geiger, where he first and foremost was engaged in fermentation processes and yeast physiology. His scientific activity focuses especially on the area of fermentation by-products.
