New Business Development & Risk Manager

Effective August 1, 2016, Dr. Uwe Kikillus joined Pentair as Business Development & Risk Management Manager CO2 & Biogas. In his new role, Dr. Kikillus is responsible for the business development of Pentair’s biogas business into new markets and regions, and also for the development of strategy plans globally for biogas expansion. With respect to operation engineering process management, he is in charge of project management standards and processes, and of contract risk management.

Dr. Kikillus has an educational background in Mechanical Engineering, and has a broad technology and industry background. Prior to joining Pentair, he served as Director International Sales at Germany-based MT-Energie GmbH, where he was responsible for the globalization of the biogas business and the U.S. market entry.

Uwe Kikillus started his career at Krupp Polysius AG in Germany. From 1998 he served as Technical Director of the Material Processing Division of Babcock International Group plc. until he was appointed Global Head of Risk Management at KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd. in 2006. He also managed several subsidiaries in Sweden, India and the USA.

He will be based in Pentair’s office in Venlo, the Netherlands.
