Grundfos acquires German water treatment company Euwa

As water challenges grow across the beverage industry, reliable, sustainable and efficient treatment is becoming business critical. The acquisition of Euwa strengthens Grundfos’ strategic ambition to expand its water treatment business and its position in the global beverage sector.

In June Grundfos has completed the acquisition of the German water treatment specialist Euwa, strengthening its water treatment business in the beverage industry. Euwa designs and delivers water treatment solutions for brewing and soft drink production, with installations in more than 110 countries. It serves some of the world’s largest and most recognised beverage companies.

Renowned for strong technological and engineering expertise, Euwa offers solutions covering the full clean water cycle in the beverage industry. Its strength lies in deep process know-how and flexible, efficient and customised solutions that help minimize water, chemical and energy use.

The acquisition of Euwa reflects Grundfos’ strategic ambition to expand its water treatment business.
