US craft brewery number dropped 2.9 percent to 9,578 in 2025

USA | Craft beer production dropped again in 2025, down 5.1 percent to 21.9 million barrels beer in 2025, the Brewers Association (BA) reported on 15 April. Even so, craft slightly increased its share of the total beer market to 13.3 percent, from 13.2 percent in 2024. The beer category overall declined 5.7 percent by volume.
