Canadian craft brewers get a boost from the federal government
Canada | And about time too. On 1 April (no joke) the federal government announced an additional two-year extension of the 2 percent cap on the annual alcohol excise duty inflation adjustment, and of the 50 percent reduction on excise duty rates for the first 15,000 hl of beer brewed in Canada, effective 1 April 2026.
