WBA’s Web-based brewing course now recognised by the IBD

The World Brewing Academy reports that its Web-based Concise Course in Brewing is now formally recognised by the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD) as suitable for students writing the IBD General Certificate in Brewing Exam.

Based in London, the IBD offers a range of internationally recognised exams that brewing companies of all sizes and geographic locations tend to fall back on in order to assess the level of brewing technical skills of their employees. Designed to measure the basic knowledge (theoretical and practical) underpinning brewing, the General Certificate in Brewing (GCB) exam is open to anyone with an interest in brewing. The exam is especially aimed at brewing team members, team leaders and technicians. For more information of the IBD General Certificate in Brewing exam, visit their web site at http://www.ibd.org.uk/igbsite/business/examinations/news.asp.

Whether you are using the WBA’s programmes to prepare for the exams of the IBD or you are looking to improve your technical skills towards building a thriving career in brewing, the Web-based World Brewing Academy Concise Course can help you achieve your educational goals.
