The SENAI-RJ by the Technological Center at Vassouras realize every year a Symposium to inform the brewery production chain the state-of-the-art in terms of technology. This year, besides the Symposium, SENAI-RJ will celebrate 15 Year Anniversary of the Brewery School.
At the year 1993 SENAI-RJ starts at the Technological Center for Food and Beverage the Brewery School, a realization that was concerned by the Doemens Academy in association with Hanns Seidel Foundation, Krones AG, and the tree Groups - Antarctica, Brahma and Kaiser – those at that time produces beer in Brazil and had a deficit in technical professionals education.
The Brewery School isn’t just a center to professionals education. In harmony with the new vision from SENAI-RJ it is a solution supplier for the beverage industry. Nowadays the Beverage Area, new name for the Brewery School, offer to the market solutions as consultant, service, analyses, information and anything the beverage industry needs. With a good qualified and expert team the Beverage Area offer experimental development for new products and process, research for new raw material, microbiological, physical and chemical analyses, technical assistance, technical and economical studies and distribute information by the courses and symposia.
This year the IV Latin America Symposium for Barley, Malt and Malting Process will be held on 24th and 25th June at the Vassouras Auditorium. At the Symposium the people will discuss the most important fact from the last months for the beer industry: the malt quality and quantity. Two experts were invited to held speeches about the quantity and the quality of the malt produced over the world. Booths are playing the same speeches in events in Europe, because of the technical and economical importance of this subject for the beer industry. We’ll have a round table with four experts from South America discussing about the barley and malt research and development, farm production and malt process optimization at the MERCOSUL Lands. It will be more than 10 hours with technical speeches for the technological up dating for professionals that works in the beer production chain, besides some free time with the most important person from this industry, at a well organized place that improve and stimulates the professional relationship.
Together, the IV Latin America Symposium for Barley, Malt and Malting Process and the 15 Year Anniversary of the Brewery School, will be the best opportunity this year to an excellent networking, at an optimal atmosphere that is the Technological Center in Vassouras.
