Craft Brewers Conference in Austin, Texas
In an announcement the organisers said that the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) delivers four learning tracks of educational seminars and provides a platform for networking and discussions on current legislative issues.
CBC will begin its events with an opening reception held at the world famous (in Texas, that is!) Stubbs Bar-B-Que. This year the CBC welcomes keynote speaker Vinnie Cilurzo, owner of Russian River Brewing Company (Santa Rosa, CA). Cilurzo will be the first brewpub member to give a keynote address since 2001. Cilurzo is known for his unusual beers and brewing techniques. Cilurzo has won the Large Brewpub Brewer of the Year Award at the two most recent World Beer Cups in 2004 and 2006.
BrewExpo America, the trade show for the craft brewing industry, is held in conjunction with the conference. The two-day trade show expects to host 130 exhibitors.
The CBC seminars and tradeshows will be held at the Hilton Austin, conveniently located in downtown Austin and minutes from the airport.
