German beer sales decline 2.2 percent in first half of 2026
Germany | Despite significant growth in June, German beer sales saw an overall decline in the first half of 2026. From January through June, 38.45 million hl of beer were sold. That was 2.2 percent, or 855,000 hl fewer than in the same period last year, according to the German Brewers’ Association on 4 August.
